Rotary Club of Tegucigalpa, Rotaract Club of Tegucigalpa and Interact Club of Tegucigalpa participate together to help affected people by hurricanes ETA and IOTA
Honduras is the most affected country by the hurricanes ETA and IOTA. Due to the confinement there were serious consequences in revenue generation and job losses of many employees, since they were either suspended or fired. The reactivation of the economy was taking its first steps, however, in November, both hurricanes left a high natural disaster impact, affecting once again thousands of Honduran families throughout the country. These families had losses of their home, electronic devices, food and even farm animals and crops from which they subsisted.
The Rotary Club of Tegucigalpa, Rotaract Club of Tegucigalpa and Interact Club of Tegucigalpa have begun the mission of helping the greatest number of Hondurans, especially children, who have been affected by COVID-19 and the hurricanes. We have had the possibility to deliver several kits with food and personal hygiene products to those who have been most affected throughout Honduras and our goal is to continue with this so needed help.
